ACT I

Scene 1.

a garden with trees, flowers, more flowers, some grass in the lower left corner, a stream -- wait, a creek.  no, a stream, but not too big of one.  And not too small either, its got to be just right.  NO! you're visualizing it wrong!! NOT like that.  A STREAM don't you see???: water flowing gently by with a few round stones and mounds of grass.  Crystal clear water with small fish gliding about within and few bugs flying near, around, or upon the water.  There is NO waterfall!  The water gently caresses its banks and sometimes splashes lightly onto the beautiful assortment of flowers nearby.  NO, Not those types of flowers, prettier ones.  And not weeds.  REAL   flowers.  No ugly ones or stinky ones or wilted ones.  These are perfect flowers.  And none that we're allergic to either, ... can't STAND sneezing...  The sky above is a beautiful blue with just the right amount of wispy clouds above.  NOT cumulous clouds! NO! NO! NO!  CIRRUS the WISPY ones can't you read??? In the background birds (but NOT Gannets, Robins, nor Nuthatches) chirp.

Bob: You've only dealt with me for two seconds.

Narrator: ... I'm changing the scenery:

A townhouse.  Bob lays dead in front of it.  The beautiful garden is off to the right.  The death, destruction, devastation, and mayhem are to the left ---

         that wrong too....

Narrator: You're dead, shut up!

Narrator: No, no, no.  BE QUIET!

Bob: Oh, no we see the violen--

Narrator: Oh NO YOU DON'T:

Bob lies dead AND MUTE in front of the townhouse (but definitely not the way you're picturing it, Bob had a point there--)

Bob: There you see!

Narrator: SHUT UP YOU'RE MUTE!!!!

You think you "got us,"  don't you??  It says "A Play in Four and One Half Acts" when there are actually FIVE.  Well, this act was intended to have FOUR scenes, thus the appearance of only two makes it HALF an Act.  SO THERE!
